The streets will once again become Santa Barbara’s longest public park for the day as over 2 miles of Cabrillo Blvd transformed into a celebration of people-power to promote better health, flexibility and FUN! Last year over 15,000 participants young and old enjoyed the streets as they usually can’t: without cars, fumes or traffic, while exploring eight free community activity zones.
At 3:00pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015, hundreds of Zombies will rise up to perform Michael Jackson’s iconic dance as part of a global phenomenon, Thrill the World at the Activate stage across from Chase Palm Park at Open Streets. This will be the 6th year Santa Barbara will participate and this year the Zombie dancers have fully joined forces with SB Open Streets. Have fun learning the dance in advance at one of many locations around town then join with hundreds of other dancers at Open Streets. Find out more here.
